Supervisor

Essential Job Functions include:

  • Be a champion of customer service, train employees to do the same.
  • Retail products and promotions in stores.
  • Cash handling, securing cash and bank funds.
  • Ensuring cash handling procedures are being followed by employees.
  • Receiving and distributing products and supplies to the stores.
  • Assist with stocking products in stores.
  • Inventory counting and tracking of products and supplies.
  • Ensuring that stores are kept clean and neat. Assist with store cleanup regularly.
  • Provide breaks to employees and cover their time off as necessary.
  • Train and develop new employees on Company policies, store procedures, registers, etc.
  • Count beginning or end of shift receipts and enter in POS system.
  • Ensure stores are open according to established hours of operations. Adjust accordingly for any flight schedule changes.
  • Other duties as needed and required by the position.

Other qualifications:

  • Ensure that all quality and Health/Safety requirements are met in accordance with Federal, State, and Local standards.
  • Dependability: Is punctual. Can be relied upon to be at work according to schedule. Complies with policies regarding clocking in/out and use of breaks. Communicates schedule changes to appropriate supervisors.
  • Uniform/Personal Appearance:  Always dressed in complete uniform and presents a well-groomed appearance.
  • Commitment:  Shows initiative and follows through with tasks.
  • Must be able to bend, twist and stand for extended periods to perform job functions.
  • Must have the ability to lift and push objects weighing over 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to maintain an airport badge and adhere to airport rules and regulations.
  • Requires the ability to speak in English, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.
  • Follow the safety rules provided in the TGI Safety Manual along with other TGI policies and procedures.
  • Report any safety hazards to management immediately.
