Administrative Assistant


SUMMARY: It is the responsibility of the Administrative Assistant to provide office support for the operational area of the store location(s). The primary focus of the position is on office administration, inventory-related duties, and other duties as needed or required by the position.


Essential Job Functions include:

  • Demonstrate the ability to interact well with the coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner and offer assistance as needed
  • Assist new hires with new hire paperwork
  • Assist with training and development of new employees
  • Understand and follow TGI’s cash handling policy and procedures
  • Count and secure all cash funds and bank deposits
  • Enter purchase orders, posting and receiving documents into the POS system
  • Count the daily shift receipts and post sales into the POS system
  • Assist with inventory and track inventory for products and supplies
  • Other duties as needed and required by Management

  • Dependability:  Is punctual and can be relied upon to be at work according to schedule
  • Complies with policies regarding clocking in/out and use of breaks
  • Commitment:  Shows initiative and follows through with tasks
  • Requires the ability to speak in English clearly, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with coworkers
  • Follow the safety rules provided in the company Safety Manual along with other company policies and procedures
  • Report any safety hazards to management immediately
